Baked for a Sweet New Year: Rosh Hashanah 2026 at The KMP
Rosh Hashanah has always had a special relationship with something sweet. This year, The KMP’s specialty bakery brings together the familiar tastes of the New Year with a collection of more unexpected indulgences—some rooted firmly in tradition, others destined to become new favorites.
At the heart of the collection is our Caramel Apple Honey Cake, a tender round honey cake filled with Granny Smith apples, warm spices, and pure honey. It takes two of the holiday’s most beloved flavors and brings them together in a beautiful centerpiece for the dessert table.
Of course, no Rosh Hashanah bakery would be complete without the classics. Our traditional Honey Cakes and Teiglach bring the familiar flavors of the holiday to the table—the kinds of sweets that have been part of New Year celebrations for generations and somehow never lose their place.
For something festive and easy to share, our Apple Blossom Cookie is shaped like an apple, brightly frosted, and finished with a cheerful “L’Shanah Tovah” message. It’s a small holiday detail that feels equally at home at each place setting, on a dessert platter, or tucked into a thoughtful Rosh Hashanah gift.
And then there are the babkas—rooted in tradition, but reimagined in all sorts of delicious ways. Our Rosh Hashanah collection ranges from familiar, nostalgic flavors to bold, unexpected combinations, with each loaf bringing its own personality to the table:
- Cider Apple Babka — soft, pull-apart layers of spiced apple, brown sugar, cinnamon, and warm cider flavor
- Velvet Chocolate Babka — tender yeasted dough braided with rich parve chocolate and deep cocoa flavor
- Biscoff Crunch Babka — warm, spiced Biscoff swirls finished with golden cookie crunch and caramelized edges
- Nutella Swirl Babka — thick ribbons of Nutella and glossy chocolate woven through soft, tender dough
- Dubai Midnight Babka — dramatic dark chocolate dough braided with pistachios for a rich, striking finish
The collection is designed for more than dessert. Slice a babka for a late-night holiday table, bring a honey cake when you’re invited out, set an Apple Blossom Cookie at each place, or put out a few different loaves and let everyone find a favorite. These are the kinds of bakes that make a table feel abundant, celebratory, and just a little more fun.
Rooted in the flavors of the New Year but made with a distinctly KMP point of view, our Rosh Hashanah bakery collection leaves plenty of room for tradition—and a few delicious surprises.
