These crosscut shanks are incredibly rich and flavorful with tender meat around the outside edges. These may also be used for a rich bone broth. This osso bucco is hand-cut by our master butchers.
Serving Size: Approximately 8-10 oz. per Person or 1 Piece
Ingredients: Soaked & Salted Milk-Fed Premium Veal.
Recommended Cooking Instructions: Place oil in a stove-top pan on high heat & quickly brown the osso bucco on all sides. Preheat the oven to 300°. Add seasonings, sauce & submerge the osso bucco in an oven-safe pan. Cover & cook for approximately 4 hours, or until the meat is tender & falling off the bone. Please note that all veal should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145° as listed on foodsafety.gov, with a 3 minute rest time.
