These smaller chickens have extremely tender meat with a low fat content. They are comprised mostly of white meat and are therefore rich in niacin, which can help lower cholesterol and promote brain function. These Cornish Chickens are hand-selected by our master butchers on as as-ordered basis.
Serving Size: Approximately 1 lb. per Person
Ingredients: Soaked & Salted Free-Roaming & Antibiotic-Free Chicken.
Recommended Cooking Instructions: Preheat oven to 375°. Follow desired seasoning recipe. Place chicken in baking dish. Bake for approximately 1 hour or until chicken has reached desired internal temperature. Chicken should no longer be pink, juices should run clear & skin should be golden. When chicken is done, remove from oven, baste the chicken with the juices and let rest prior to cutting. Please note that all chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165° as listed on foodsafety.gov.
