These baked crescents of Spanish origin are given a Midwestern twist with the tangy & sweet brisket filling which is slow-cooked in our Kentucky Cookout BBQ Sauce. The final delicacies are flaky, rich & teeming with flavor! They provide a perfect addition to any meal or special event.
Serving Size: Approximately 2-3 Empanadas per Person
Ingredients: Pasture-Raised, 100% Grass Fed & Antibiotic-Free Black Angus Beef Brisket, Grade A Clover Honey, Tomato Paste, Fresh Garlic, Fresh Ginger, Fresh Onions, Celery Seeds, Fresh Red Peppers, Toasted Sesame Seeds, Distilled White Vinegar, Dried Mustard Seeds, Molasses, Brown Sugar, Tamarind, Natural Smoke, Fresh Herbs & Spices, Sea Salt & Malabar Black Pepper. Empanada Dough: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Enzyme, Riboflavin, Folic Acid) Water, Soybean Oil, Sugar, Baking Powder (Corn Starch, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate) & Salt. Contains: Sesame, Wheat, Soy.
Recommended Reheating Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°. Place empanadas on a baking sheet. Bake the empanadas for approximately 12-15 minutes until fully reheated. Make sure that the internal temperature of the beef registers at least 165° on a meat thermometer.
